EC Horizon Impact Award 2020 contest: deadline postponed to 15 April
On 13 February, the European Commission (EC) launched the
Horizon Impact Award 2020 contest, which is a prize dedicated to EU-funded projects whose results have created societal impact across Europe and beyond. Its aim is to acknowledge and reward the most influential and impactful project results under
Horizon 2020 and its predecessor, the
7th Framework programme (FP7, 2007-2013).
The contest is open only to FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects that are closed and can provide proof of their impact. Each of the five winners will receive €10 000. The contest is open for applications until 15 April 2020.
