EC announced 10 finalists of Horizon Impact Award 2020

On 15 September 2020, the European Commission (EC) announced the 10 short-listed projects for the Horizon Impact Award 2020, which is a prize dedicated to EU-funded projects whose results have created societal impact across Europe and beyond. The prize acknowledges and rewards the most influential and impactful project results under Horizon 2020 and its predecessor, the 7th Framework programme (FP7 in 2007-2013). The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on 23 September 2020 at the European Research and Innovation Days. Among the 10 selected projects, EARTO Member, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, is involved in “DIADEMS Project” – developing sensors which are capable of measuring magnetic fields with unprecedented accuracy.   Full list of finalists of the Horizon Impact Award 2020:
