Joint VTT-OECD event on “R&D policies for better post-pandemic futures” on 20-21 May 2021

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, together with the
OECD Working Party on Innovation and Technology Policy (TIP) and Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland jointly organise a two-day event (day 1 -academic – day 2 high-level) on “R&D policies for better post-pandemic futures: New approaches and tools” on 20 and 21 May 2021. The event will explore how the COVID-19 pandemic and the policy responses to the crisis are expected to result in lasting changes for science, technology and innovation (STI). The event will aim at identifying what are the main challenges facing STI systems in the post-pandemic world, particularly in terms of industrial inclusiveness, and exploring what could be efficient policy responses, by bringing together policy makers, business representatives and leading scholars.
