Juan Farré takes over as President of DTI
The
Danish Technological Institute (DTI), EARTO member and Denmark’s leading innovation institute, announced that Mr Juan Farré has been appointed as the new president starting on 1 October 2020 and will replace Mr Søren Stjernqvist, the former 20 years’ president. Having significant experience and in-depth knowledge in the RTOs’ field, Mr Farré previously served as CTO at EARTO Member
FORCE Technology, Delta, Ernitec and NKT as well as Vice-President of Global Sales at NetTest. Mr Juan Farré holds a PhD in Optical Communication Systems from the DTU.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr Jens Maaløe, stated that: “Juan Farré brings knowledge which we believe can strengthen and develop the Institute. This development must be realised in close collaboration with leading Danish companies, organisations and international partners while understanding the GTS role played by the Danish Technological Institute relative to ministries, agencies and the political objectives for Denmark.”
